The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff’s training, professional credentials and work experience.


Dr. Richard Rogers graduated from Central Dauphin High School and obtained a BS degree from Geneva College. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) from the Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association and its national affiliate, the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Howard Schake did his undergraduate work at Akron University. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency training at Cleveland Foot Clinics and Doctors Hospital, Cleveland. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

 

Dr. Elizabeth Hinton is a graduate of Central Mountain High School located in central Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in biochemistry at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, located in her hometown. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) in Philadelphia at the Temple Podiatric School of Medicine. From there she went on to complete a three year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Chestnut Hill Hospital located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Her training focused on foot and ankle reconstruction as well as diabetic wound care. During her senior year she had the distinction of being named Chief resident. Dr. Hinton is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Hinton also specializes in wound care, seeing patients at the Pinnacle Health East Shore Wound Care Center. She is an Associate in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
   
Dr. Jason Sweeley is a graduate of Central Mountain High School in Central Pennsylvania. He attended Lycoming College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Sweeley earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete a 3 year podiatric medicine & surgical residency at Pinnacle Health System where he served as Chief Resident. The focus of his residency training was on foot & ankle re-construction and diabetic limb salvage. In addition, he also completed a Microvascular Surgery course at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Sweeley is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association.
   

Dr. Thomas Beideman is originally from Collegeville, Pennsylvania and attended Juniata College earning a degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he was honored to be a member as well as the vice president of the Sterling Harford DiPrimio Honorary Anatomical Society. He went on to complete a three year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital, with a focus on rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Beideman served as the chief podiatry resident in his final year of his residency. He completed a mini-fellowship in dermatopathology at Bako Labs in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Beideman is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Beideman also specializes in wound care, seeing patients at the Pinnacle Health East Shore Wound Care Center.


Dr. Ian Yarger is originally from Centre Hall, PA. He graduated from Penns Valley High School in central Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Westminster College and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State. Dr. Yarger completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency with added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley,CO. During his final year of residency, he served as chief resident. Dr. Yarger has received specialized training in the Ponseti technique for correction of pediatric Clubfoot. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American College of Podiatric Medicine. 

Dr. Darrell Hoppes is a graduate of Parkland High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He attended Saint Francis University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in neuroscience. Dr. Hoppes earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete a 3-year podiatric medicine & surgical residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pa where he served as Chief Resident in his third year of residency. The focus of his residency training was on foot & ankle reconstruction, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. In addition, he also completed a Masters in Medical Education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine while in residency. Dr. Hoppes is an associate in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
